Ultra Filtration

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane filtration technology that falls between reverse osmosis and micro filtration in terms of the size of particles removed. UF is an energy efficient method to remove most particles, pyrogens, microorganisms, and colloids in the 0.002 to 0.1 micron range.

Puretec can provide reliable Ultrafiltration systems that meet your budget and effluent water requirements. Our UF systems are tough and produce the highest quality water for the least amount of energy.

Smaller molecules can be removed by further filtration or ion exchange beds if necessary by incorporating Reverse Osmosis and/or Ion Exchange.
